The Sony Floppy Disk Adaptor has been an excellent addition for my Sony FD95 Digital camera.Before, I was forever changing floppies, but now with the Floppy Disk Adaptor and a 32mb Memory Stick I can use my camera all day without having to carry a heap of discs around with me.
Even better, is the ease with which the stored picture files can be downloaded onto my PC. Once youve loaded the software from CD,- this took just 2 minutes including re-booting my PC - its just a simple case of clicking on the A drive and viewing them.
The software even gives you an idea of how much battery life is left in the Floppy Disk Adaptors two lithium batteries. The specs state that they will deliver 12 hours continuous writing to the disc and 16 hours continuous reading from the disc.
The memory stick can be formatted by using the Floppy Disk Adaptor in your PC.
One downside to the Adaptor is the slower writing time than a normal Floppy.
